Backyard Ideas; Ponds are increasingly becoming a way to add value and tranquility to the backyard;relatively inexspensive and afordable.Ideas, tools, machinery, even money; are all quite similar; If we don't put them in motion they have little or no value.

When developing your pond if intending on having fish; foiliage and tree growth may be a primary consideration along with placement of rock for falls and additional foliage in the falls itself will help in keeping the water cool on hot summer days.In the Annapolis Valley and abroad we have become increasingly aware of the importance of leaving tree growth along our brooks and rivers for healthy fish habitat. These ideas are very transferable to pond construction. An insulated area from where your water is being circulated will also help in regulating pond temperature.
